Financing Partners:
Stairway Denmark was established in 1993 with the sole purpose of
assisting Stairway Foundation in its work to upkeep and to promote
children’s rights in the Philippines. On the source dedication and
volunteer work, Stairway Denmark has played a most significant role in both the
establishment and the consolidation of Stairway Foundation. It
was through Stairway Denmark that we were able to receive substantial
financial support from the Danish International Development Assistance,
DANIDA, from 1994 up to 2001.
After seven years of support from DANIDA, SFI has now
diversified its sources of funding to a broader range of partners
of various nationalities, namely Germany, Canada, Belgium,
Finland, the Philippines and Denmark.
