Children's Rights and Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Workshops

Our Role in Prevention Efforts

As a result of working directly with children for years, Stairway realized a great number of children in its program had been victims of some form of child sexual abuse and exploitation.  This sad revelation compelled the organization to confront the reality. Over the past years, SFI has joined forces with both local and international network of partners in the fight against child sexual abuse.  Currently, SFI trains thousands of teachers, social workers, law enforcement agents, church people, organizations and parents in an attempt to promote personal safety programs in schools, churches and communities. The workshops are creative, interactive and uses the animated film features, "Daughter" and "A Good Boy" as a mode of presentation.
