Tapping into Stairway’s years of practical experience on Online Safety work for children, NGO Fontana and MSD Vietnam invited Ysrael “Ace” Diloy, one of Stairway’s senior advocacy officer, to participate in a series of events that aim to build up awareness and knowledge on online safety.
Two trainings on CyberSafety – one in Hanoi and another in Nha Thrang was organized by NGO Fontana and was attended by government and non-government partners. Another event organized was a talk show for the general public. Ace served as a panelist together with other local experts on online safety. The last event was a short session in a local school in Hanoi where Ace interacted with teachers and talked about Stairway’s experience in working with the Department of Education in the Philippines on CyberSafe.
The events were also covered by local media. The organizers plan to host more events like these in the future in collaboration with Stairway.
