SFI congratulates graduating scholars of 2011-2012

Congratulations to SFI Graduating Scholars of 2011-2012

This year’s graduating scholars consisted of 22 high school students and 9 college students.  Most of these students, SFI has supported since grade school.  Of the high school graduates, one student, Jenny Rose, graduated 5th in her graduating class.  Two other SFI scholars, Rochelle Bercasio and Monet Santoyas received scholarships to De La Salle University partly sponsored by ECPAT Philippines.

College graduates:  Mae Gomez, Joyce Maranan,Kimberly Marasigan, and Jennifer Tanglao completed Bachelor of Science in Education.  Don John Cabarles and Gabriel Fetizanan completed degrees in Information Technology.  Reynard Bercasio completed a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Richard Caringal graduated 2nd in his class from the Don Bosco Technical School in ship mechanic.

During the summer break, SFI scholars will attend workshops, do beach clean ups and give tutorials to other scholars.

Over the years, SFI has supported hundreds of students providing educational assistance and support to determined and motivated children and young adults from poor families.
