Stairway Foundation has renewed ties with the National Police Training Institute (NPTI) through a courtesy visit to its Director PMGEN Ritchie Medardo A. Posadas on February 27, 2023, at NPTI, Camp Vicente Lim. The partnership aims to capacitate the NPTI Personnel on child protection, focusing on offline and online child sexual abuse and exploitation using Stairway’s E-learning and according to the training institute’s role and mandate in Philippine law enforcement.
SFI NCR Programs and Operations Manager/OIC Ms. Mary Grace Esteban also joined the NPTI’s Flag Raising Ceremony and Awarding as Guest of Honor and Speaker. She emphasized the importance of multi-stakeholders collaboration on child protection, especially between the government and civil society, in terms of fulfilling respective mandates as duty-bearers to uphold, promote and protect children’s rights in general.
